I was expecting a movie that would have loads of dread and a Pennywise that would be more menacing than the cartoon 90s stereotypical monster that I got. The scares came a mile away, the characters were shallow, oh and the only way Pennywise can be scary would be if you were terrified by the movie Mama. Oh....wait....it was.
I thought it was okay in so much as I'm a bit astounded that they got away with what they shot. This is a tough watch but if you're into horror in the sense of how horrible the world can actually be in times, then you would owe it to yourself to watch this to at least say you have.
Not as fun as the last movie but the fight scenes were great. Channing Tatum is barely in the movie at all which is a good thing as his parts were a little stale. Would have liked to have seen a bit more with Kingsman. Also, the main villain seemed extremely one-dimensional in the choice of dialogue and motivation.
