Princess Mononoke 1997
everything about this movie is so calm & devastating. simply laying out both the beauty and destruction in nature and humanity without any real villains. Just people & spirits trying to survive in their world that’s constantly shifting. ghibli of course is ALWAYS stunning, thematically rich, and yet again made me cry. really loved this!
