It definitely shines in the mundane. The satire didn’t land for me but the daily life stuff was so good.

There’s also this feeling as a viewer in 2024 that “apartheid is absurd” is a huge understatement, but I guess you have to take that for its time.

The blocking, sound design, and shot composition were all great. Reminiscent of Tati. Attention span havers tap in.
