Howl's Moving Castle 2004
After finishing this, I applauded by myself in an AirBnB in Cincinnati for a considerable amount of time.
This movie is one of those things that reminds you the greatest gift human beings have is the power of creation (which is something I think about often). The process of coming up with an idea and turning it into reality is a beautiful thing, especially when it’s used for good.
This one really brings out the romantic in me, and that’s how you know it’s special.

I think I hate Mel Gibson so much because his “historical films” are ugly jigsaw puzzles, put together carelessly with pieces of truth and fiction. The parts that are true gain the trust of the audience, but he absolutely does NOT deserve it because he’ll quickly follow them up with something laughably incorrect.
Why have the actors speak Mayan and then portray the Mayan people inaccurately — constantly getting them confused with the Aztecs? He shows way too many people…
