  I would have thought I had seen this movie more recently than 2018 but my movie log says I haven't.

  Anyway, I took a music class in 2023 that focused a lot on Elliot Smith's music. I had never heard of him before that, but really liked some of his songs. I then found out that these new songs I loved were a major part of Good Will Hunting, I just had never noticed before.

  First time watching this. Earnest and authentic. Super cool that it was based on a true story. Glad things worked out in the end. Didn't expect Bo Burnham to be in it.

  However,

  Rachel and I paused this movie halfway through for the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul boxing match, which was sad and frankly dystopian to watch. I can't help but wonder if anyone else on Earth had the same experience
  of watching those two things in tandem.

  First time watching this one somehow. Felt like pure 2006. There were so many quotes I grew up hearing all the time, cool to see their origin.
