  Everything I’ve seen from Pasolini has left me slightly bewildered, and just as enamoured. It’s going to take a bit of reading, a lot of thinking, and maybe even a rewatch, before I’ll know what I really think of this, but in the meantime the one thing I am certain of is that I loved it!

  This is either the most optimistic or the most nihilistic film I’ve ever seen. I have absolutely no clue which one, but it’s definitely one of the two.

  Joining the ranks with Salò as one of only two films I genuinely cannot think of what to rate them.
