  Indy at his most James-Bond-esque, especially his relationship with Elsa as pseudo love interest/femme fatale.

  Ultimately, Indiana is more fun than Bond (who I love) because he works for his wins. Just love how tired Indy is after the excellent tank sequence.

  Also enjoyed how the origin sequence does in a few comical minutes (addresses snakes, whip, hat) what some movies devote their entire running time to.

  I really enjoyed this pre-code musical with its rhythmic sequences, fun wipes, and cross-cutting musical scenes. Charles Ruggles is great, but Phil Harris not so much.
