I completely forgot how much this movie loved roller coasters.
Nowhere near as bad as people remember it to be, I think people going back ready to laugh at how poorly it aged are going to dissapointed.
Shoutout to my favourite non-animated sliding elf in the crowd though!
Easily my favourite "so bad it's good" movie
An absolute technological marvel, there's nothing that hasnt been said about what a spectacle watching this movie was like, in so doing that it almost completely masks any shortcomings through dialogue and cliches.
In an age where we the viewers are so spoilt for visually rich movies, nothing I've seen in recent memory comes close to the breathtaking CGI and underwater mocap that James Cameron employs to make this film. I couldn't have asked for a better film to start my 2023, one of the rare movies I'd say might actually be worth doing Gold Class/ IMAX for.
