This was a well-made film. The acting was phenomenal, and the production design perfectly captured the atmosphere of the time period. I think I would have appreciated it more if I had read the log line beforehand and understood what I was about to watch. The ending was both terrifying and beautiful, the image of her lying there with dried flowers and blood surrounding her, and Count Orlok laying over her.

    Also Aaron Taylor-Johnson 😋😋

A typical Disney movie, well-made and emotional at times. I found myself rooting for Scar, which made it even sadder.

Damn, I went into this with high expectations after loving the first movie, but honestly, I left feeling disappointed. Mainly because I didn’t realize it was going to be a musical (I have to mentally prepare for those). I found myself bored pretty early on.

In the first film, Arthur’s dancing was such a powerful way to show him stepping into the Joker persona. I wish they’d stuck with that instead of overloading it with singing. The singing felt more…

Wow, I absolutely loved this. Todd Phillips really outdid himself with this one. The way the film shows different emotions made me empathize with the antagonist, which I didn’t expect. Joaquin Phoenix’s performance was remarkable - I’ve never truly understood the Joker as a character until now. His emotional range in this movie is insane.

The production design was incredible. The muted, dull color palette set the perfect tone, making moments like the bathroom scene (where raw emotions take over) stand out even more. Every detail felt intentional.
