I woke up today and wanted to be wowed in the theater. I wanted to be graced with cinema. I so desparately needed to know that modern filmmaking was still alive. You might think "Killers of the Flower Moon" would be my go to choice, but you're wrong. So damn wrong.

I grew up with this movie and have always loved the story so I decided to watch it with my 4 year old son. One thing to note, I grew up religious and have since abandoned religion and Christianity. With my new outlook on life, it was like I was watching this with new eyes.

Literally sobbing. This movie touches me so deeply, even more so than the first time I saw it. I could go on and on about this (which I did to my wife immediately after it ended) but I'll spare myself that emotional journey by just saying that this is the most I've been moved by a movie. Ever.
