  A movie that lived and died at the premise. Nic Cage devoured every scene he was in and this movie will largely be remembered for those scenes. It almost felt like a Godzilla movie where I constantly was disappointed by the "human plot". I think I could have stomached the concept if it didn't feel like a B plot to the police drama plot?

  I’m sure this was a fun project for the people who worked on it. But that’s about as kind a word as you’ll get from me. 

  The dialogue is a mix of cliche, cringe, stupid, and outdated. The plot is paper thin. The characters have 1 trait each. 

  Obviously a shoe string budget but this didn’t take itself too serious, in the bad way. The aunt Ethel rap at the end fully solidified that this movie is for people who will watch anything on Tubi.
