  This is how a series should be. There isn’t a situation in the first 6 hours that doesn’t further develop Kaji. Theres a scene in particular where Kaji in in a situation where he has to make a relatively minor decision, and he makes a different choice than in the first film. It was one of the most powerful moments in this film to me and i adore the fact that his changes aren’t shoved in your face. Extras in this film are as fabulous as in the first. Everything feels like its building towards an amazing conclusion and I cannot wait to witness it.

  Three and a half hours flew by. Impressive start to the trilogy. One of the best uses of extras ive ever seen and some unique cinematography, especially at the climax. Kaji is a very real, believable, and complicated character. Extremely excited to see where this trilogy goes. I understand people saying it was sometimes too melodramatic, but it didn't hinder the movie for me personally.
