exactly as weird, subtle, and surreal as I was expecting. Sadly I watched so many video essays about this movie that I knew all the plot points but seeing it for the first time was truly an experience.

Was funnier than most American comedies coming out in the last decade. Which is something that can be an essay looking at the situation American culture seems to be in where grotesque murder is humorous. Anyways, I thought this was a great ride of a movie, however the ending did leave a bit of a bittersweet feeling with how we left essentially the same as we entered the first act. But that’s like life I guess.
That shit was fucking ass. Script is clunky. Acting is just really stiff. Character motivations turn super fast. And they do an awful job of hiding the big bad. Fell asleep through it, and I fucking love movies
