I liked it. I didn’t lovvveeeee it.
I do really fuck with movies that have this sort of formula like 12 Angry Men and Anatomy of a Fall where it’s like a court case or just like one huge decision that the entire movie leads up to with more mystery unfolding along the way.
The performances were good and I was into it but in the end it just didn’t HIT like I wanted it to.
it was almost good but it took a cheap ending that they’re trying to play off as a “twist” imo
not really much visual style to it and the whole thing was just giving “rec.709” which also made me very aware of the fact that it’s a Netflix movie
glen powell is good tho and no complaints about the rest of the cast but idk i think it could have been a lot more impactful with an alternative ending that ties together the psychological/philosophical themes that they’re trying to push in a more valid way.
