Thor: Ragnarok 2017
Thor: Ragnarok was a breath of fresh air for the Thor franchise as Taika Waititi gave audiences a new and improved version of the character. Ragnarok is a fun, action packed movie that is a massive improvement from the last two Thor films Although it could’ve fleshed out Cate Blanchetts’ ‘Hela’ a bit more. A MCU movie that stills holds up to this day Thor: Ragnarok is easily the best Thor movie to date.

Ant-Man 2015
Ant-Man is a fun comic origin film that mostly stands alone from the rest of the MCU, which is a good thing in this case. The action within this film really makes this a great ride for viewers, really utilising the unique power set of the hero. I really enjoyed Paul Rudd’s interpretation of ‘Scott Lang’, as the father that’s just trying to do right for his daughter, not really something you see in superhero films. Ant-Man is an enjoyable film that I feel has flown under the radar in recent years for a good MCU film.

Kung Fu Panda 2008

This film is brilliant. A story that is sure to resonate with every viewer. Oogway is easily one of the best characters in recent animation who delivers many lessons through beautiful metaphors. A movie can only be a strong as its villain and Kung Fu Panda delivers on that. Tai Lung’s rage is significant in mirroring Po’s journey of self acceptance as they are two sides of the same coin. One denying and the other accepting one fact.
