  Felt very shallow. I obviously can not see it with the eyes of someone from the 60s, but I couldn't help but feet like it lacked focus. It also lacked any heart. Overly cerebral yet also somehow thoughtless. Every once in a while a scene would almost tip into being provocative or offering something to think further on, but then it would recede.   no chemistry between the leads, so all the typical annoying things about romcoms that are easily ignorable when you are having fun are no longer ignorable. Also, seeing Hugh Grant play this sort of character seems wrong. He needs to be a smug asshole, and when he isn't I'm deeply confused.
