am I missing something? I am genuinely confused as to how people enjoy this movie. is it some sort of nostalgia curse or something, because the jokes here just aren’t funny! this movie is the equivalent of walking through molasses, but Kevin McCallister is trying to summon a demon on you. is the reason why i don’t like this movie the fact that I first watched it in a math classroom while having to make constant notes on what was happening on *google slides*? maybe. but uh yea this movie isn’t good

ok, if you’re ever going to watch this, you need to make sure you know that you’re watching a sonic movie (same rule applies to detective pikachu but it’s DEFINETELY more important here). this movie, when looking at it as a big shitpost, is pretty enjoyable. they pull so many things in the movie, such as introducing Sonics owl mom (???) and killing her right after, and sonic fortnite dancing TWICE! but when watching this movie with friends, and just enjoying the fact that there is indeed a sonic movie, it’s pretty alright.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2018
it’s been a while since I’ve last seen it, but the movie is wonderfully animated. other movies will try to capture a sort of “comic” style and completely fail. this movie, on the other hand, actually succeeds in feeling like a comic, while also being a great movie. the movie also juggles multiple characters well, which is most of the time the one thing that kills Spider-Man movies. if you haven’t, go watch it.
