The music is bad, the dialogue is clunky, and the depiction of transition is atrocious.
Underneath it all though it still feels like this movie might have had a couple interesting things to say, but failed to say them through it's refusal to give any depth to Emilia's relationship to gender.
Ironically, the closest the film gets to talking about womanhood is a song sung by Jessi that refuses to go any deeper than "womanhood is about loving yourself."
