Potentially one of the best historical films I’ve watched - inspiring storytelling although a bit one sided at times and lacking certain accuracy, incredible acting by the whole cast and a fantastic insight into 1960s America.
Highly recommend but be prepared for contempt towards certain characters.
Sorkin also does quite Sorkiny things and adds fictitious dialogue that the real characters would never say hence the docked 1/2

This might be the best film I’ve ever seen
Script writing - incredible
Acting - so realistic
Soundtrack - awe inspiring
“The most beautiful film I’ve ever seen - I even had a wank to the sex scene” says Aki Banerjee, resident of 36 Cavendish Road, Clapham SW12 0DG
The first Oliver Chew recommendation falls slightly short of the mark.
Great cinematography at times but convoluted dialogue and an ultimate lack of guidance in the 2nd half of the movie makes it hard to call it “the best war movie”.
Maybe next time Oliver!
First recommendation from Samarth Rao, lived up to the Quentin Tarantino hype. Great visuals and very good acting by all members of the cast but what was the story meant to be?
He goes and gets his wife from some plantation owner?
