    boring asf.
tom is really selfish. when summer clearly tells him that she doesn’t want anything serious and prefers to stay just friends, he keeps believing they’ll end up together, that he can change her. even when she shows him she doesn’t share the same feelings, like when she tells him she’s not in love with him, he keeps pushing for the relationship, hoping she’ll eventually feel the same. his behavior is purely selfish and he just doesn’t respect summer’s…

i expected a small comforting movie, but when i got to the last twenty minutes, i was surprised and so sad (which is what i love in a movie). this movie is a perfect tragedy of wanting to live and express one’s feelings to the fullest. i got attached to these young teenagers discovering themselves, to this passionate teacher who teaches freedom, the boldness to be oneself, the courage to break norms and follow one’s dreams. i think i will watch this timeless masterpiece again and again to understand it better and love it even more.

Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood

this movie portrays hollywood cinema during that era very well, with beautiful sets and world-class actors (especially Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie). However, I don’t understand the point of the film. The moral is not very expressive, and there isn’t much suspense. We’re not surprised at any point, and we don’t really feel any emotions or shocks or revelations, except maybe at the end. The story makes no sense and feels like it contains 10 different ones at the same time. Or maybe I just didn’t get the film. A bit disappointed..
