  Pros:
  Basically everything. The story, the characters, the editing, the cinematography, the look of Godzilla, the score. It was the perfect balance of the camp in old monster movies and the serious horror of modern monster movies. Most in the genre struggle balancing the human story and the creature story but this one nailed it.

  Cons:
  I didn’t love how the women were treated. They felt two dimensional: the two we meet didn’t have any traits other than being fridged ("Women in Refrigerators" Trope) and being the kid’s nanny.

  Pros:
  -The acting was decent
  -The fight scenes were fun and well choreographed
  -The plot was fun and had some funny moments

  Cons:
  -There was a certain character that was ruined (I don’t remember if the character being in this movie was a spoiler or not)
  -The CGI looked like something from Spy Kids or Sharkboy and Lava Girl (I don’t usually care about effects, but this was BAD)
  -Kang didn’t feel threatening, it was all tell no show
