  i have many conflicting feelings about this movie which makes it unusually difficult to review.

  la la land is a heart-wrenching story about the sacrifices you have to make when you decide to live as an artist. it hits harder six years later as you grow up and actually understand what it means to sacrifice a dream for stability. the epilogue absolutely left me in tears.
