Blade Runner 1982
I don't feel like my thoughts on movies are particularly nuanced. I don't feel educated about them, or obsessive, to feel like my opinion or thoughts on movies should hold that much more water than anyone else's. Which I guess is kind of ironic to try and write out my thoughts about whatever movie I just watched beyond just saying 'I liked/loathed it.' I do, somewhat, like cataloging things though and I feel like typing out my thoughts or opinions…

Roma 2018
Roma seems aptly titled. Named for the neighborhood in Mexico City, it nevertheless gives a nod to Fellini, perhaps not in tribute to the original itself, but to the black and white palette, the sweeping interior shots, and the expansive landscapes that seem to be characters in the film themselves. I am left more so confused by some of the relationships within the film though. It's clear there is a delineation between the servants and the upper middle class family…
