Review of Greyhound i wrote for a freshman wwii history class
Greyhound, a WWII film released in 2020 starring Tom Hanks (1)—this film was extremely interesting in the context of historical accuracy and the portrayal of its main characters. Although this film is somewhat poorly received relative to other WWII films starring Hanks, I believe it uses its filmic techniques, approaches to war, and character development, or lack thereof, to create a real and immersive story for the audience.
