This is the first time I’ve struggled so much to write a review. I ended up scrapping it, but I’m still kind of confused about the film. At the same time, I thought it was somewhat good. It’s not perfect, but it does provide a representation of what it’s like to be a mother, even if it’s not spot-on. I do wish I’d explored the weirder parts more, but overall, it’s a decent film. I can’t quite capture my full thoughts, so I’m giving it three stars—it’s a decent movie, but I’m just not sure how to express that fully.

I’m conflicted. I desperately want to hate this film for its awful stereotypes, unnecessary musical dance scenes, and cringe-worthy, eye-rolling moments—but there’s a part of me that can’t, so I’m going to tell you exactly what I think.
