  The 2000s CGI doesn't stop this from being a good movie.

  However what comes VERY CLOSE to doing so is the awful acting of Edgar and that living book, as well as the dance number ending.

  The musical number in the middle wasn't as jarring as it could have been for a non-musical movie however, and was actually enjoyable.

  The other Bridget Jones are comedies with heart. This one is pure heart. Specifically my heart, that it ripped from my chest and shredded to pieces in from of my tear-filled eyes.
