I understand what this film was trying to do, make this "expedition" about grizzly bears turn into a expedition of the human mind. But I couldn't help but see the "Hollywoodized" portrayal of a man who was father gone than we could understand. I walked out of this film wanting to know less about what the film focused on, but more about the question of why he turned out the way he did. The closest explaination comes from Timothy's parents…

It is hard to find intelligent, thought provoking sci-fi films nowadays. Many films such as "Transformers" or any other mainstream science fiction films resolve on using special effects and mindless action to compensate for it's lack of intelligence. That is why it was a pleasant surprise and extremely enjoying to watch a film that put me on the edge of my seat by just the atmosphere and feel of the film.
