You're Cordially Invited is one of those adult-core movies where a third of the scenes are middle-aged (?) people having cathartic conversations with their relatives. It's a well-executed version of one of those films, but it is one of them nevertheless.

This is an extremely impressive short that seems to be demonstrating Blender's grease pencil and its ability to draw on 3D shapes. I had no idea how much of what I was seeing was 2D or 3D until the demonstration clips shown during the end credits. Even ignoring the tech demo elements this is still a fun short, although I can't sanction this "cats smart dogs dumb" propaganda.
