    Enough Said

Enough Said is an awkward movie, mostly on purpose, but unfortunately sometimes because it has some uncomfortable attitudes.

The film is about a middle aged divorcee [Julia Louis-Dreyfus] who meets a man whose also had a divorce. The man, played by James Gandolfini, is often judged by the woman for his weight; a scene where he puts M&Ms on his frozen yogurt feels like it may've come from a horror film. You're Cordially Invited

    ★★★½

You're Cordially Invited is one of those adult-core movies where a third of the scenes are middle-aged (?) people having cathartic conversations with their relatives. It's a well-executed version of one of those films, but it is one of them nevertheless.

    Wing It!

This is an extremely impressive short that seems to be demonstrating Blender's grease pencil and its ability to draw on 3D shapes. I had no idea how much of what I was seeing was 2D or 3D until the demonstration clips shown during the end credits. Even ignoring the tech demo elements this is still a fun short, although I can't sanction this "cats smart dogs dumb" propaganda.
