Blink Twice 2024
This movie builds its suspense only to let you down to a weak plot and ending. Felt as if the movie missed its potential with the decisions made in the films story. The ending felt rushed and forced the characters into a narrative that didn’t quite fit them. Highlights however included a very clean soundtrack which somehow made soul music feel creepy and Channing Tatum screaming sorry over and over again.

Shōgun 2024
The series does a superb job of exploring the clash between Western and Eastern values, making for a deeply compelling narrative. It truly takes you back to 17th century Japan. The set design, costumes and effects used to build the world around these characters add to the realism and depth of the story.
Though the pacing may feel slow at times, Shogun rewards patience with a gripping plot that unveils the intricacies of power, loyalty, and adaptation. This series needs to be added to your list! Looking forward to the next seasons!
