  This kiyoshi Kurosawa movie comes after watching ‘creepy’ and looking at his recent movies. And probably his fourth or fifth I’ve seen … which makes me think about his prefinale purgatorial drive through stormy sky. What feels like relief gets pushed into judgement day. It never really feels interpretable not in an important way. Had ryosuke been assisted by a demon or been dead for long — had vengeful hate manifested itself into life timeline apparitions ..
