Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum 2018
While this film offers a decent atmosphere and a few haunting scenes, it is overly generic and skin deep. The lore of the story feels elementary and goes nowhere. But if you're itching for a found footage movie to watch, this may hold you over.

Saint Maud 2019
The main issue with Saint Maud is that it sets ambiguity as it's premise without being ambiguous at all. Unlike other films that have successfully tackled this concept, such as American Psycho or Inception, Saint Maud feels more like a narration through the mind of the protagonist rather than an equivocal journey. Despite this, I was curious throughout the film to see where it would end up and it resulted in one of the best endings I've ever seen in a movie which ultimately makes it worth watching.
