  There is a God and it’s Florence Pugh.
  Despite Miss Flo’s groundbreaking performance the movie’s determination to commit to the disconnected, poorly executed and wacked out plot was it’s ultimate downfall and the difference between it being a good or bad movie. I like the concept in theory and the beginning was kinda great but I left the movie theatre(both times) wanting to light my brain on fire.
  All this aside, the two times that I went to see this…

  Some good moments. Many bad moments. Was the reality that she got pregnant?? Was the purpose of the movie to tell moms that having kids won’t be all bad and you might even accomplish something you would have done without kids?? Did she just get with the drummer cause he was in close proximity? Were they trying to say that the only fated thing to happen in her life was that her short would play at sbsw? Everything else kid, love interest, friends, were simply variables? Whatever. Thought it was fine but left a bad aftertaste.
