This has to be one of my FAVORITE films EVER.
It is genuinely a cinematic masterpiece, it’s literally a punch in the throat in terms of range of emotion. I’m rooting for them, I’m not and then I’m back to rooting for them.
The pain felt through this film is so intense and mesmerizing. The cinematography in this film is jaw dropping with each scene thought out perfectly. The aura and the color in each scene has such deep meaning…
So charming, very coming of age and an absolute roller coaster of emotions. It feels personal almost like we are secretly watching lady bird grow up.
Even without an ‘action packed’ film this is still so enjoyable. It’s universal and relatable and Greta Gerwig captures how complicated family life can be growing up. The dynamics and the friendships seen just feel real, lady bird makes us question how good of a person she is sometimes but it’s also a reminder…
so morbid, so imaginative from an everyday life experience, it is the mask that Patrick Bateman wears that can make us feel like we dont truly know who is around us.
Bateman as such an admirable character for the way he holds himself and the pride he has for his appearance and image yet deep down his sanity is holding together like a thread.

one of the greatest coming of age movies ever made.... after watching this film i felt very connected to it. The cinematic world is truly amazing and this film helps bring the love people have for films out. Its the characters, struggles, conflict, emotional expression and the authenticity that makes people love this film. the pain felt and related to is really unmatched in the story telling and how well the actors can play these characters in their venture through adolescence. A great cast a great sound track and an all round comfort movie.
