i’m going to be thinking about this movie for awhile. i loved the framing of the hollywood star in the beginning and end, and generally how it was shot throughout. it was so captivating and entertaining watch. my favorite part is how it challenged beauty/self worth standards in society. how it highlighted how old men are the ones making us feel insecure about our bodies (bc elizabeth sparkle was still gorg at 50). and how we shouldn’t take anything in life for granted, and should stop obsessing over our appearance bc by doing so we waste our life away.
