The Brutalist 2024
The first half of this film was absolutely incredible. I really expected to walk out with this being one of my favorite films of all time. Unfortunately, the second half just didn’t live up to the first for me. The pacing of the second half felt rushed? Which is wild for a 3.5 hour film. Over all, this was still a really incredible piece of art with some truly beautiful shots and great performances all around. Just wish I could give it that extra half star. Definitely a film that will have me thinking and processing for a while.
