  Melville creates interesting characters so effortlessly and Madame Mathilde to me, is his in this movie.

  There are odd editing choices throughout the movie that I am yet to understand and the craziest part is that fake ass looking rain in the opening scene and that part where Gerbier is in the plane and looks out of the window and instead of actually showing outside through the window, a still shot of some planes just pops up.

  To me, any piece of art is valuable as long as the artist succeeds to provoke some type of feeling inside the viewer, whether it is joy, sadness or longing.
  This movie reignited the hate and the anger I had towards these inhuman cruel creatures who have been ruthlessly killing and and torturing anyone how dares to object them in any way.
