Dreams are fleeting. Summer with Monika drives home the way people can be swept into a dream, only to wake up and find they’ve missed the last train home, that the dream was ecstasy, but now that it’s over, there’s not much left. The Spy Who Loved Me

    ★★½

This as a decent entry for Moore. The story is fine, the villain is somewhat compelling, although falls a bit flat as you learn more about him, Barbara Bach's character is interesting, and Roger Moore excels in the role of Bond. Jaws is fun, the settings in Egypt are pretty, and the oceanic sequences are also solid. The dynamic between 007 and triple x is compelling, although I felt the ending was a bit forced.
