First of all it’s a beautiful exposition of faith. Secondly, it’s what a movie would look like if Interstellar and Arrival had a mother. Thirdly, it provides a possible theoretical explanation as to how Angela Bassett didn’t age in the 20 years between Contact and Black Panther.
The movie is exciting, all the while balancing action and dialogue. It moved me on many levels, and I can recommend it to anyone who’s got some interest in science, philosophy, or both!
