The Front Room 2024
This was entertaining however I agree with assessments the plot really didn’t take off much past the first half hour or so… I also feel this was a bit confused in terms of what it was trying to go for but perhaps that was a part of their attempts to make it thrilling ? It was interesting how there were moments where you wondered if it was going to have a supernatural element or not and the twist at the ending was fun. Brandy and the actor for the Solange were excellent - a toxic and believable terrible dynamic!

Beautiful movie in terms of setting, character performances including familial interpersonal relations and all however it was a little anticlimactic and felt a little hopeless in the end - just my opinion. A lovely watch all the same but not sure I’d enjoy Rewatching it ever
