  This film was quite underwhelming, it did have some emotional points but the messaging was odd to say the least. 
  I felt it really tried to drive home the idea that motherhood involves extreme sacrifice to the detriment of the mother (and it was quite gendered in this film specifically), and the issue I take with this is the romanticisation of it. There’s no denying that this is the reality for some or many parents, but it was really showcased…

  The timeline stuff doesn’t make sense and doesn’t quite fit, but everything else is perfect; the acting, the suspense, tension and horror, the background music and the end scene were just all so delicious. A fun thriller to watch to pass away the time
