  She's actually on fire. She literally catches on fire.
  Each frame, a still life.
  A movie about memory, those that haunt us, about going to church just to hear music.
  "We must paint."
  A call to witness. A call to love. A call to selfishness.

  I'm thinking about "Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists?" by Linda Nochlin. Thinking about Manet, Courbet, and the cliffs of the Calanques. Thinking about storms, and hymns, about psychedelics, and the last time we get to hold each other- it's brevity, and it's hollowness.
