  Me fascina que cuando entra la voz que narra los eventos mundanos, como lo que morirán en poco tiempo los cerdos cruzando la calle de una enfermedad viral y usando el mismo tono monótono nos cuenta eventos más grandes e trágicos para los protagonistas. Que las cosas que ocurren en el esquema de la película y de la vida son solo cosas y nosotros somos los que les asignamos tragedia o indiferencia como espectadores.

  French courtroom drama’s are gonna eat EVERY fucking time, this film has a similar narrative tension to Alice Diop’s ‘Saint Omer’ (2022) which absolutely floored me as-well.

  The ability to make a landscape as insanely vast as the Alps feel as claustrophobic as a courtroom hellbent on dissecting your shortcomings as a spouse, mother and overall individual, is a testament to just how giving the performances and editing of the film are. 

  The constant switch from French to English to French to FRËNCH did something for me idk, I need to physically see the screenplay and kiss it.

Following
