first half and the closing scenes were great. not a fan of shouty overlapping dialogues that went on for far too long in the latter half. plus the whole sequence with ivan's parents, the yelling, poorly delivered snark from the mum, the second court trip, felt almost comical and misplaced in the film (?) though now i very much want to see how igor and anora turn out..... also mikey switching to dulcet tones with ivan's pathetic ass then back to her thick new york drawl yep yepppp good character detail

this was such a sweet, lighthearted watch, especially for late-bloomers coming into their own sexuality later in life. the movie doesn't try to be more than its synopsis and sometimes the gays need just that - a straightforward plot with a happy ending 🫶🏼
