  The Britney Spears reference was EVERYTHING. Baz Luhrmann is a creative genius, I always know I will be in for a treat for any film of his. I would have enjoyed a lot more if I was actually a fan of Elvis but it was still a FANTASTIC movie.

  I’ve been looking for a film to make me feel something for a while now, and boy was this the film. I was fully immersed in their story the whole time. The first hour was full of tension and I found myself finding it harder to breath as the film went on.  Loved how the second hour dealt with the aftermath and we as an audience got to see different characters’ perspectives. It’s a difficult adjustment to make for everyone and I honestly felt for them all. ugh just loved it ☹️ great acting and just an overall great film
