Hilarious throughout the whole movie. Harkens back to the early 2000s teen movie format with a modern age twist. One of the greatest contributions to feminism in film. ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely heart-wrenching movie. Sets you up in the beginning as sweet gay cowboys in the mountain only to stick a knife in your heart and twist it throughout the movie. The scene of Ennis visiting Jack’s family home and finding the denim jacket from when they first visited Brokeback Mountain is especially impactful. The sense of longing for what was and can never be again rends your heart as you watch him say goodbye the only way he can.

Visually appealing but also kind of carried by visuals. As far as the story goes it’s easy to follow but by the second half you can pretty easily predict how the everything will play out.
