  when humans are in survival situations, writers bring out the animal in them. they fight for food and kill each other. but when the animals in flow are in survival situations, they become human. they’re empathetic, unique individuals. “what rly defined human from animal?” will always be one of my fav questions!

  okay a few things. 1) i can’t get over the fact that mikey isn’t wasian? 2) why are we all acting like it’s revolutionary to make a movie abt sex work? we’ve seen this before?? yall are just clapping this time bc it caters to the male gaze and cushions some of the darker realities of the industry 3) i do genuinely think this was a well-produced movie and it was quite funny in some parts. but i kinda hate…

  really weird. this movie movie includes hallucinogenic chocolates, cgi orange hugh grant who performs a musical number, a beautiful homage to mothers, class consciousness, and straight up child abuse. would have been much better if it committed to being either good or bad, but instead we are left with this abomination.
