Mickey 17 2025
*Light spoilers ahead *
What starts off an an exemplary piece of satire, that addresses the toils of the proletariat in a deep space dystopia, ventures into a lifeless void that is filled with political shoehorning along the lines of immigration laws, climate change, space colonisation and whatnot, rendering the film messy and convoluted by the third act.

Ponman 2025
How often do you get to see an individual approach an acclaimed novelist to write something based on his life, which he in turn makes it into a major motion picture and have the same writer dawn the screenplay.
The process that went behind the materialisation of Ponman is something to be studied. It's a lesson in how a novel should be adapted respectfully.

Pravinkoodu Shappu 2025
I stepped out from the cinemas thinking this film was a masterpiece, then I realised it wasn't but just one of those films which I'd like to revisit again for the boundaries crossed in terms of visualisation and camera work.
But if you ask my honest two cents I'd say it was an ambitious attempt , watered down by the above mentioned pizzazz until all that was left was an anti climactic resolution to what otherwise could've been an effective whoddunit tale.
Points to each and every technical crew.
