Definitely my least favorite Hitchcock movie I've watched so far. There's just no sauce here. It doesn't go anywhere interesting at all. I think the strongest aspect of this film is the chemistry between Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint. I loved all their scenes together. The dialogue was sharp and witty between the two. Also Cary Grant's fits were peak. The score was also hella peak. Also liked the Frank Lloyd Wright looking house towards the end. I just wish there was more here to tie it all together.

    P.S.
Please normalize bringing back VistaVision it looks fucking beautiful.

Not entirely sure if I like the Succession-like direction for this movie. Something about it doesn't work for me here. I did find the VHS grain effect interesting. I think the VHS grain effect is supposed to be objective while everything else is subjective. Jeremy Strong and Sebastian Stan are amazing in this. Maria Bakalova was also great.

Was pretty underwhelmed by this. The animation felt off at times. I didn't feel the epicness I'm supposed to feel when watching a Lord of the Rings movie. I also did not care for the characters all that much. I think they needed to spend more time developing the characters instead of having so many battle scenes. Brian Cox was cool tho.
