  It's strange how this film about the brutality, boisterousness and self-righteousness of the police, how they are incompetent, power-hungry, unfit for the job; how Vietnam vets were treated with animosity once they came home was turned into a kill-crazy action franchise.
  The cultural idea of Rambo is that it is a silly and violent action movie, when that isn't the case is a shame, because there is a good film here.
  The fact that this film was milked dry by sequels with no respect for the original, that were coming out till last year is a disgusting principle.
