An absolute slay - Complete disregard for the source material is absolutely necessary to create anything less than the 6 hours of perfection the bbc produced in 1995. they scrapped the regency fashion altogether but it's a slay it was totally worth it, that regency cut would not have looked right in 1940. they chose a late century puff sleeve silhouette instead and it suits the world they created beautifully. people want to complain about casting on this one but…
